One of the most common problems in the meetings & events industry is that buyers don’t have the time to visit all potentially interesting venues before making their final decision. The problem is compounded further when booking events abroad. Often there is no possibility to visit any of the venues in person, so buyers have to rely entirely on the venue’s sales materials.
A traditional sales presentation has its strengths, but photos are too static to tell the whole story. Even the best photos won’t let you look beyond their borders to really get a feel for the entire space. Sales presentations lack interactivity in other ways as well: they can’t actively urge the potential buyer to take the next step in the process, no matter how well-crafted they are.
